Android Training for MCA (final year) and BE (CS/IT) final yearfrom 31st July 2013 to 08th August 2013

TSDC organized an Android Workshop for Acropolis (AITR and ATC) students of differentdepartments (MCA, CS, IT) from 31st JUL 2013 to 8th AUG 2013, this workshop was conducted byAndroid Industry experts (05 nos.) from ShanatoSoftwares (,Jaipur, Rajasthan.
Android is a Linux-based operating system designed primarily for touchscreen mobile devices such as smartphones and tablet computers. Android is open source and has a large community ofdevelopers writing applications (“apps”) that extend the functionality of devices, written primarily in a customized version of the Java programming language.
The objective of Android workshop was to introduce our students to Android platform andAndroid app development; the workshop covered topic like – Android SDK installation,configuration, JAVA language fundamentals in context of Android app development, project basedon Android platform – use of contacts, gallery, camera, SQLLite etc.. and its successful deployment on Android devices.
After clearing the online test conducted on 16th AUG 2013 by EDUProma(, participant students received certifications for Android workshopfrom EDUProma. Overall 236 (195 from AITR and 41 from ATC) students attended the workshop.
This workshop was successfully co-coordinated by Mr. Nitin Kulkarni (Coordinator-TSDC,AITR), Mr. Yashpal Patel (Trainer-TSDC, AITR), Mr. Nikhil Srivastava (Trainer-TSDC, AITR),Ms. Nanda Page (Coordinator and Trainer-TSDC, ATC).
