Women cell : Aerobics training

Acropolis believes that women are great aspirants with copious potential and skills. ‘Acro Women’s Cell’ is a community that serves to help women to exploit the potential that resides in them and to grow into a stronger figure cognizant and ready for the corporate world. The new session 2013-14 was inaugurated with Aerobics training. A fun aerobics session was held on 7th September 2013 for an hour where students along with the faculty members, came together to workout to drain out their stress.
The session began with an introduction of the cell by the Convener, Dr. Prasanna Shah, followed by a speech from Secretary Ms. Arti Sharma informing the students about the importance of physical training.  Dr. Anupama Tiwari, Ms. Roopali Jain, faculty and student members helped in smooth conduction of the program.
The trainer, Mr. Rajendra Singh Sikarwar is a well known trainer and has been with well-known gyms like Body temple, Oxygen etc.   He has been in the field for almost twenty years.  He was given a floral welcome by Principal Dr. Kamal Bharani. He engaged students into an energetic yet vital and fun activity teaching basic Aerobic steps and the fundamentals of aerobics.    The program was open to all.  The session concluded with question and answers by the participants and the trainer.    A crystal momento was also presented to Mr. Sikarwar by Dr. Bharani.    Vote of thanks was given by the convenor Dr. Prasanna Shah.
Aerobics on good beats, out on the ground of Acropolis’s campus in fresh air filled students with enthusiasm to carry out the rest of the activities through the day with joy.  Students reported back that they enjoyed the aerobics and didn’t feel lethargic anymore.  The joy that spread gradually was the highlight of the event.
