Workshop on Information and Storage Management 3-7 January 2012

To train faculty community, TSDC and MCA department organized the workshop on the following from 3rd  Jan to 7th  Jan 2012 in association with RGTU and EMC2- We’re in an age where information is exploding into a digital universe that requires enhanced technology and new generations of professionals who are able to manage, leverage, and optimize storage and information management solutions. A perfect storm in which everything is increasing: the information, the costs, and the skilled professionals needed to store and manage to meet the growing need. The IT manager’s primary concern is how to manage this storage growth. Enterprises simply cannot purchase bigger and better “boxes” to store their data. IT managers must not only worry about budgets for storage technology, but also be concerned with energy-efficient, footprint-reducing technology that is easy to install, manage, and use. Therefore, Information Storage and Management is introduced as a part of BE and MCA syllabus in Rajiv Gandhi Technical University, Bhopal. Overall 20 faculty members participated. In this workshop, participants gained wide range of knowledge from World Class Technical Speakers. After completing the workshop participants received the certificate. This workshop was successfully coordinated and conducted by Dr. ShilpaBhalerao and Mr. ArvindJaiswal.
